Patient rebates
Medicare rebates – Enhanced Primary Care schemePatients who are managing a chronic or complex medical condition and referred by their GP under an Enhanced Primary Care plan may access a Medicare rebate for services provided by an Exercise Physiologist. Eligible patients may receive a rebate for up to five individual allied health consultations per calendar year. The current Medicare rebate is $51.95. Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)All DVA gold card holders and white card holders who are being treated for the specific condition indicated on their card will be bulk-billed for Exercise Physiology consultations. A written referral from a medical doctor (GP or specialist) is required to access bulk-billing. Workers Compensation and CTP rebatesOur Exercise Physiologists are approved treatment providers by WorkCover NSW. Workers Compensation and CTP fees are as per the WorkCover NSW gazetted fees for Exercise Physiology services. Prior to attending an assessment, a referral letter is required from your nominated treating doctor. |
